The seeds of log building began when Dean Cole would occasionally peel building logs for a log home builder near Pincher Creek.
Higher Ground took root and what began as a hobby, grew into a part time business between 1994 – 1998. We enjoyed selling our furniture through farmer markets, trade shows and the roadside.
In 1998 we opened a small shop and showroom in Edmonton. This was an excellent stepping stone from part time to full time as our skills and craftsmanship continued to increase and be refined. Since 2000 we have been a home based business, working from our shop and acreage, which is now located near Buck Lake, Alberta.
Today we have over 40 log products as well as custom manufacture log accents, railings and most importantly helping you grow with your dreams.
